Jodi offers weekly lessons either at her studio, through an online portal, or in the comfort of a student's home.
Lessons are prepared individually for each student's needs. Each student progresses at his or her own speed.
She offers her students a well-rounded education that incorporates music theory, technique, performance skills,
and for advanced students, chords and improvisation on piano and violin.
The styles she teaches for both violin and piano are pop, rock, folk, country, R&B, reggae, funk, and jazz. She also teaches fiddle methods as well.
Additionally, Jodi teaches voice lessons depending on the age of the student. She teaches most any style for voice except opera.
Jodi uses the following books in addition to other supplemental materials or songs/pieces the student wishes to learn.
For the piano, she uses Faber and Faber, Alfred's, and Bastian.
For the violin, she uses Samuel Applebaum, Essential Elements for Strings, Mazas, and Wohlfahrt Foundation Studies.
Recitals are held yearly for students to perform pieces they have learned, to build confidence, and improve public performing skills.
